A leader in the development of programs that meet the learning, wellness, and social development needs of youth, we're focused on increasing student engagement through inclusive instructional models. With a professional development model based in building online communities of practice, we bring together teachers and students from across North America and the globe to address some of the most pressing issues faced in the classroom today.
Learning Through The Arts
A leader in the development of programs that meet the learning, wellness, and social development needs of citizens across Canada.
A transformative educational program
To amplify the impact of our successful programs and to meet the needs of students in remote communities, LTTA is expanding its offerings to include digital products that will foster the development of creative thinking skills among students. YouthBeat is a digital music-based youth leadership offering.
6 Social empowers students to apply their math, technology, and media arts skills to solve social issues affecting their community.
LTTA’s First Nations programming helps teachers present curriculum related to indigenous treaties and culture in authentic ways.
Living Through the Arts works in partnership with social service organizations across Ontario to meet the needs of clients from different demographic groups through arts-based workshop sessions and artist professional development and support. The program nurtures creativity, builds self-knowledge and self-esteem, fosters mutual respect, and encourages the expression and celebration of creativity and identity — both individually and socially.
The Royal Conservatory gratefully acknowledges our sponsors for their support of Learning Through the Arts programs for the 2017-18 year.
